Who
We work exclusively with CEO’s, business owners, and team leaders.
What
The process for High Capacity one-to-one customized coaching follows a true custom open-ended approach, meaning you are in charge and we co-create a proactive action plan. Coaching is not consulting or training, but if a client desires a more formal close-ended engagement, we will brainstorm and decide on one of our three proprietary coaching models:
- The Capacity Seven™ Become the best leader you can be
- The Instant Coach™ Integrate coaching into your leadership brand
- The Leadership Factory™ Developing managers into high capacity leaders
Assessments are included and based on the specific needs of the client and business.
Where
Most coaching occurs via telephone with clients ranging from Australia to Arizona. In-person coaching is available per local arrangement.
When
Meetings are conducted weekly during the first month, followed by bi-weekly on-going meetings. Phone, email, and text time included. When needed virtual tools are used such and conference calls, Skype or WebEx.
How and Why
Regardless of the model, one-to-one Leadership Coaching consists of collaborating around three foundational elements of decision-making:
- Observation
- Interpretation
- Application
Effective decision-making requires each of these fundamentals: observation of the problem or opportunity, interpretation of the answer, and application of the solution. Most of us are fixated on the third step, application, have you ever heard the quip “fire…ready… aim!”, which of the three does that address? Often overlooked is observation and interpretation, rendering us less efficient in our work and personal lives. I like to correlate observation and interpretation to a carpentry analogy, “measure twice, and cut once”.
Not following these three essentials can also result in subconscious stress and anxiety. High Capacity Leaders’ goal with a coaching engagement is to equip leaders and teams to change their thinking and behavior so they can begin to work smarter, not just harder. As I like to ask leaders, “you spend a lot of time working in your business, how much time do you spend working on your business?” We take great pride in helping you work on your business, and most specifically the human capital/human potential part of your business.
