Amber Z. Diver – CPA, CFO
Amber has worked for both large and small companies across various industries, including software, startup, energy commodities, travel, service, and manufacturing. Most recently, Amber has been instrumental in establishing Accounting, Finance, and Human Resource departments for small to mid-sized privately-held businesses in a part-time or virtual CFO capacity. These include travel company, Sixthman, and energy start-up, GiG2.
In 2005, Amber passed the Uniform CPA exam and was licensed by the Commonwealth of Virginia’s State Board of Accountancy. When she formed her own consulting company, Diver Financial Services, LLC, she became a QuickBooks’ Certified ProAdvisor to better assist the small and mid-sized business market she serves.
Amber was born in Chattanooga, TN and earned her Bachelor of Science degree in 1999 from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. In her spare time, Amber enjoys running, Pilates, and golf. After successful completion of various 5K and 10K runs, she ran her first half marathon in the spring of 2011. Amber and her husband, Mark, reside in the northern suburbs of Atlanta, GA with their two young daughters, where they spend much of their time encouraging their children’s development and celebrating their accomplishments.
